The Pre-Nursery and Nursery classes cater for children between the ages of two and four.
The children benefit greatly from being in the school grounds as they are able to enjoy the wide range of facilities on offer to develop the key foundational skills they will need as they move up to our Primary Section of Hillview School.
These classes have their own playground filled with a variety of apparatus that encourages play and physical development.
These classes which have a high adult to child ratio, offer a safe and happy environment in which the children are allowed to develop their individual language, motor, conceptual, emotional and social skills.
Opening times
The Nursery is open from 6:40am and lessons start at 7:00am until 11:30am. Once formal lesson time finishes at 11:30am, there is a ‘waiting class’ between 11:30am and 12:30am to accommodate families who have older siblings in our Primary School.
Parents are asked to please use the garden entrance at the beginning and end of each session if they are coming down to the nursery classes to drop off or pick up their children.
