Our Lower Secondary programme, covering Year 7 to Year 9, provides students with a broad and balanced education as they progress through Key Stage 3.
Students follow the National Curriculum of England alongside the Cambridge Pathway, combining high academic expectations with a learning experience that reflects our international and African context.
During these important years, students develop deeper subject knowledge, independent learning skills, critical thinking, creativity and confidence, preparing them for the challenges and opportunities of Upper Secondary education.
Cambridge Lower Secondary
At the end of Year 9, students sit the Cambridge Lower Secondary Checkpoint examinations in:
- English
- Mathematics
- Science
These assessments provide an opportunity to measure students’ progress and understanding at the end of Key Stage 3 and help inform their continued learning as they move into Upper Secondary.
Students also complete the Cambridge ICT Starters “On Track” programme, developing practical digital skills and confidence in using technology.
