Our High School is a vibrant and enjoyable place to learn and excel in a diversity of subjects using modern and innovative teaching and learning methods. We hope you will join us soon to find out first hand what we have to offer.

100% IGCSE pass rate

In 2020, every single one of our Year 11 students passed every single one of their IGCSE exams with a C grade or higher.

Even better, over half of all awarded grades were an A or A*!

As a Cambridge Checkpoint School, our students take internationally recognised exams at the end of Year 9 – these provide a good prediction of future IGCSE performance and highlight any areas that need to be improved. Since our foundation, our student body has achieved a 100% pass rate and 86% of results ranking as “Excellent” or “Very Good”.

Excellent student-teacher ratios

Our school has a strong sense of community and is a place where no one is left behind. Teachers and students build strong relationships which allow teachers to tailor their instruction to all learners. This is something only possible in a single stream school with small class sizes.

We cap our classes at 20 students per class. This allows our teachers to spend more time addressing the individual needs of our students. It also means that our teachers have the time to support students outside of lessons when they need it.

Unique business and technology education

We are the only international school in Malawi to offer a Business and Enterprise course at Key Stage 3 (Years 7 to 9) where our students engage in practical simulated business activities – not just theoretical study.

With one-to-one tablets available and class laptops, our students are able to integrate technology into their studies. Our ICT and Digital Literacy lessons help them develop their understanding of key office software, such as MS Office, and the way that technology is changing our world.

In Computer Science and Design & Technology, our students get to solve complex problems and develop software to control robots and manipulate computer game environments.

Engaging and varied after-school programme

With sports like lacrosse and ultimate frisbee, our sporting programme goes way beyond the regular football and netball offerings at most schools (but don’t worry, we play those too!).

We also offer an extended academic programme with Spanish, Electronics, Graphic Design and Food Science, alongside other stimulating activities such as chess, debating and drama.

Daily school bus to and from Blantyre

Every morning, our school bus picks up from multiple locations in Blantyre to get your children to school safely on time. At the end of every school day, following the completion of our afternoon programmes, the school bus returns the children to Blantyre to their chosen drop off points.

As a small school, we ask our families what locations they need collecting from and arrange a suitable central pick up and drop off point accordingly to best take care of our school community.
