Public Demo Classrooms

Welcome to our demonstration online classrooms.

These classrooms are here for you to experience a few of our lessons and see some of the great teaching at Hillview International School.

Please read through our rules and guidance below. You will find links to our online classrooms and their joining codes at the bottom of the page.

Blending e-learning with the physical classroom

Online learning is an excellent tool to engage our students in creative and collaborative projects both inside and outside of the physical classroom. While it has been a great tool to keep our students learning during the recent school closures, it is also a fantastic way to enhance and support classroom-based learning.

Using the classrooms

Please feel free to attempt the assignments and have a go!

There are a few rules that we would like you to follow while you’re here to keep everyone safe. Please read and confirm in the online classroom that you are happy to follow them.

Online classroom rules

1. Under 18s must be supervised by an adult at all times

As this is a public classroom, we request that all under-18s are kept safe through guardian supervision.

2. Explore the tasks and give them a go!

These are ‘taster lessons’, and a small subset of the work we do at Hillview but we hope that it gives you a good idea of what we offer.

3. Have fun!

Not everything in life is fun, but studies show that people learn more quickly and more thoroughly if they enjoy their lessons.

Accessing the classrooms

Please join the class(-es) that are appropriate to your children to get an idea about the work we do at Hillview International School:

  1. Log into Google Classroom by clicking here.
    You will need to create a Google account if you don’t already have one.
    • If you already have a Gmail or YouTube account, you can use this.
  2. In the top right hand corner of the page, click on the + icon and choose Join class.
  3. Enter the join code for the class you with to join:
    • Key Stage 1 (Rec, Years 1 to 2): db3ojhi
    • Key Stage 2 (Years 3 to 6): kprk43s
    • High School: ns6i6um
  4. Click on Join.
